Confined Space (2 Day)

Aims
  • To provide the candidate with knowledge of the dangers and legal requirements pertinent to work taking place in confined spaces
  • To cover current applicable regulations: Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and Confined Spaces Regulations 1997.
  • To understand and be able to use a range of safety equipment, such as gas monitor, full working breathing apparatus; escape set, tripod/winch and resuscitator.

  • Confined Spaces Regulations 1997
  • Construction (General Provisions) Regulations 1961
  • Identify and evaluate hazards
  • Development and implement pre-entry procedure
  • Evaluate and permit atmospheric conditions
  • Provide and maintain necessary equipment and ensure proper use of it

  • This course can only be conducted on-site and using your own equipment.
