Counterbalance & Reach Fork Truck (Operator Refresher / Retest)

Aims

To re-iterate the correct, recommended operating practises for this type of lift truck; to the standards set by manufactures association and endorsed by the various training bodies.

To remind the operator of the risks associated with general use, driving and refuelling / recharging this type of machine.

To inform and educate through classroom lectures, video presentations and group exercises the theoretical knowledge of lift trucks. Practical sessions will be by instructor demonstration and delegate repeats, using simple staged sessions.

All delegates will be required to successfully complete both a theoretical knowledge test and practical skills assessment. The standards for these being set by the appropriate accrediting training body.

The trainer for the course will have a formal qualification in instructional techniques (as required by the HSC) in addition to a minimum of two years operational experience on the category of lift truck being taught.
