When attending one of our courses, either on your site or at one of training centres, please can you ensure you bring the following along with you.
For all machine and scaffold courses, you will need to have hard hat, safety boots and a high vis jacket. Please ensure that you bring along suitable overjackets for inclement weather. For IPAF and PASMA courses, your National Insurance number and your full address with postcode and date of birth. It is our policy to use safety harnesses when using a boom type machine and you should bring along your own if possible, we do carry some spares but these are only available in standard sizes and cannot be guranteed to fit all.
If we are training on your own site, please make us aware of any company policy that make affect our ability to train you safely or any requirments you may have for PPE or site inductions.
Lunch is provided whenever possible at our training sites with the exception of Gloucester, it is advisable to bring a packed lunch on the day for this site. Refreshements (tea, coffee and water) are provided at all sites.
Unless specified, all courses will commence at 9am with varying completion times depending on the course and experience of the individual. If you have any problems with reading or writing, please ensure our Instructor is informed prior to the course so he can assist you during the theory test.
All course material will be provided along with a pen and spare paper for notes.
